Summer Events by Celebration! Banquets & Catering

By Michelle Bayink
Celebration! Banquets & Catering Sales & Event Coordinator

Celebration Banquets and Catering is located upstairs at Celebration Cinema North in the Wave Room! We are newly renovated with a built in dance floor and large projection screen. We have smaller conference rooms or you can rent out a theater with a private bar! We also love to cater at other facilities as well or even an outside event.

What have we been up to?

We recently hosted The Caught in the Crossfire’s Movie Premiere here and had 50 Cent in attendance with a cocktail party and a cash bar in our Wave Room. In June we hosted the Eclipsing MD Event which sold out to over 500 people the week before. This private event had a strolling dinner between Celebration! Banquets’ Wave Room and the Beacon Lobby of Celebration Cinema North, which was transformed into the scenery of the Eclipse movie. This event had over 11 vendors and had DJ Sticky Boots spinning through the night live! The Emcees for the nights included Todd Chance, Stephanie Webb and John Gonzalez.

In July one of our memorable offsite weddings was on Lake Michigan. We catered this beautiful wedding with attendance around 200 people. You can see a photo gallery below.

What’s next?
Coming in the second week of August is the What If Movie Premiere, where we will have another cocktail party with appetizers and a hosted bar in our Wave Room. We will have cast and crew in attendance for this big event, including actors Jon Ratzenberger, Kristy Swanson, Kevin Sorbo, and Debby Ryan. The Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Foundation will be sponsoring this private event.
